"Beer Me Up, Scotty" Dark Nebula Porter

A complex stout with rich malt flavours of fresh espresso, and dark chocolate. Loaded with bourbon flavour from the wood, adding notes of warming vanilla and toasted oak, which combine with the caramel malt for a smoky, bittersweet cinder toffee character. Finishes with a touch of light, dry smokiness, and a light body from the use of Belgian yeast.

Decent dark porter that brought a lot of bittering roasty and smokey flavours
Vanilla heavy bourbon, with heavy woody tannins. Tinges of dark chocolate and more Ethan a touch of fag ash. Faint cigar smoke and dry charcoal to the finish. Lacking balance, but impressively big flavours for its 3.4% ABV.
I like roasted flavours, I'm not so keen on burnt flavours.
