With its relatively low ABV, this was as I expected not the most full bodied porter that I have ever had. Having said that, I felt that the malt and hops were pretty well in balance. I was also pleasantly surprised by its length. As others have commented, it has a soft mouth feel. For me this was a negative.
Lovely feel in the mouth and enough going on in the glass to make it suitably moreish. Didn't quite have the richness I was looking for in a Porter but satisfying all the same.
A porter yes, but a watered down version. Tastes pretty much as expected given the strength. It has potential though and a stronger version could be pretty decent.
