Eight Degrees
Knockmealdown Espresso and Choc
BEB: 20/4/21 - Like tackling the Knockmealdowns in a blizzard, this beer is not for wimps. A robust malt-driven ale, this is Eight Degree's evolution of a traditional Irish stout. It has complex dark malt characteristics with a distinctive espresso and chocolate aroma, all balanced with a subtle hop bitterness. Makes a beef stew taste that bit beefier, contrasts beautifully with blue cheese or go sweet and enjoy with an intense chocolate cake.
Ingredients: water, malted barley, yeast, hops. For allergens see ingredients in bold.

Darkly malty and well-rounded. Lots of (bitter) chocolate going on here.
Great sweet taste without disturbing the beer. Lovely
Not sure I’d enjoy this but the espresso is not overpowering
I’m not a coffee stout fan but this has enough smooth chocolate sweetness to balance it.
Wonderful stout, a credit to themselves.
