The Manner of Things Porter x Arbor Ales

A toasty and robust porter with aromas of espresso, cooked raisins, and cacao. The Manner of Things uses an array of biscuity, caramelized, and roasted malts for an illustrious mix of deep dark fruits, molasses, coffee beans, and morning toast. Whirlpool hopping with Azacca adds a subtle hint of dried fruit, and a noticeable, but welcoming, bitterness.

Though I am a fan of porters, this one didn't do it for me. There needed to be more depth and flavour to win me over. I did drink it overly cold. This may have contributed to lack of flavour.
Great hint of coffee and a lovely creamy head. Fruity after taste so quiet distinctive
Coffee soaked raisins, with hints of roast malts and grainy brown bread Faint tinges of dried apricots and a touch of soft liquorice in a dry roasty and finish.
Great tasting Porter with a strong hint of coffee
More robust than others in the pack and plenty of roast dark coffee flavours. Makes you thirsty after one can so not all in on sessions
