Trzech Kumpli
NESTA Tropical Extra Stout
BBD: 11/01/2023. Tropical Foreign Extra Stout is a dark, roasty, chocolatey ale fermented in a bit more of a “fruity” approach. Expect the aromas of roasted grain, chocolate, coffee, as well as fruitiness from the activity of yeast, which this time worked at a higher than usual temperature. We have saturated Nesta with nitrogen instead of usual carbon dioxide. Do not pour it delicately on the wall, but rather with a strong stream, bottle upside down.
Ingredients: water, barley malts, rye malts, roasted barley, hops, yeast. For allergens see ingredients in bold.

About the brewery

Trzech Kumpli is a craft brewery based in Tarnów, South Poland. We started as home brewers in 2010 and went pro in 2014. We love IPAs and saisons which dominate our offer. On the other hand we still brew a classic, well crafted Pils which is one of our best sellers in Poland. We're particularly obsessed about using fresh and best quality hops but at the same time we adore smoky Grodziskie which is the only beer style with 100% Polish origin.

Unexpectedly good. Didn't sound appealing but it grows on you.
It was okay, but nothing special. Not sure what was “tropical” about it.
Pours black as the night and thick as heck. Slips down super smooth thanks to the nitro (no widget) Can see some sediment in the can but nothing came through into the glass.
Nice well balanced stout - smooth mouthfeel with a subtle lingering bitterness
