About the brewery
The story of the brewery starts with the two brothers, Jan and Jozef Hermans, who together founded the Brasserie Hermans Frères in 1898. Jos Hermans Jr is the original inventor of the Tipsy beer, which owes its name to his favourite horse. Over 100 years later, in 2020, Joey and Marc Hermans, grandchildren of Jos Hermans began reproducing Tipsy beer as a tribute to their grandfather. How a Belgian blond should be. Full of malt with a nice sweetness. Very drinkable.
Hermans are an excellent addition to the Beer52 portfolio. They also bring authentic, strong and sweet belgian style beers that wouldnt be out of place against the usual delirium / st bernadus
I felt this packed a nice punch in flavour and strength. Very drinkable.
This was a great example of a Belgian Beer - wonderful taste - I will be buying a case. As soon as I had drunk half the can, I was thinking about buying more!
