Poured well, a nice refreshing smooth beer.
Clear amber bodied with foaming white head that doesn't stay long Quite a bready taste and thin fizzy MF to me this is an interesting lager twist rather than an ale
I'm not sure why Thornbridge Tzara is labelled as a Cologne style beer because it tastes nothing like Fruh Kolsch! To me, this beer tastes more like a golden ale with malty & floral overtones combined with a Czech Pilsner brewed with soft water. The beer can description of "fermented like an ale but matured like a lager. Pale gold in colour" sounds like 1960's marketing speak for Ind-Coope Long Life canned beer!

decent drink. nice malty aroma. malty taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. very much like the old time Mickey Mouse drink, ie half lager half bitter, hence the slightly bitter finish. enjoyable drink and a good session ale
