About the winery

These vineyards are owned and maintained by 12 independent producers, spread around the foot of the Cape Fold Mountain range, which not only provides soils favourable to viticulture, but also ideal micro-climates. The diversity of rich agricultural soils paired with the moderate, Mediterranean-style climate, creates an ideal environment for top-quality grapes and award-winning wines. The Stellenbosch Hills cellar processes some 6000 tonnes of grapes per year. This comprises a wide variety of cultivars, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Shiraz. Other cultivars include Petit Verdot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Viognier, Semillon, and Chardonnay.
