Silky smooth, rich and yet somehow sessionable. Lazarus is a beer that took us years to perfect and now a firm favourite of our range. Pour the can hard and fast to activate the Nitrogen locked inside and pair with smoked salmon and oysters.

About the brewery

Few London based breweries have as close a connection to the city's long-standing brewing history as Sambrook's. Born out of an idea to bring brewing back to the heart of London, Sambrook's set up shop in Battersea, in 2008, before moving into England's oldest continuously operating brewery site (The Ram Quarter has been brewing beer since 1533!) in 2021. Balancing traditional styles with modern ingredients, Sambrook’s brews a brilliant example of high quality, no nonsense, British craft beer.

Solid stout, nothing special but nothing wrong with it either.

Smooth and dark, perhaps more 8.5 than 9

Who was in charge of the nitrogen? It had a slight creaminess to it but was disappointing.
