About the brewery

Behind this stalwart of Northern craft is a brilliant and bizarre story, filled with thirty years of twists and turns. Twin brothers and father, Oliver, Tom and Ian Fozard have picked up and protected the legacy of beer legend Sean Franklin, who started Roosters’ in 1993 with then-groundbreaking styles, techniques and ingredients. Today, the brewery is using its roots to forge a future with innovation and modernity at its heart.

Pleasantly surprised. Roosters are usually safe middle of the road beers for the Harrogate crown but this one was a bit different. Maybe they are starting to come out of their box.
