This one is a riff on the classic pairing of beer and lemon ; aka the shandy. It has a more complex aroma from the choice of a beautifully expressive yeast. The addition of thyme gently twists this beer into something much more grown up ; it's perfect before or served with the beginning of a meal ; the thyme is just a little suggestive of a botanical driven aperitif, designed to excite the olfactory and soothe the digestive. This beer is incredibly refreshing and moreish.

Born and bred on the Bermondsey Beer Mile, Partizan takes inspiration both from founder Andy Smith’s background in fine dining, and chaotic creativity powering the city of London. You get the lemon and thyme coming through but for me not a combination I enjoyed.
Intruiging beer: smell: sour, bitter, lemon taste: tart, bitter, "saison" style like, lime, mint?
Unmistakable characteristics and flavours of a Saison with a lovely balanced Lemon and Thyme twist
Hazy orange colour to it. Herbal nose to it. Zesty lemon and herby with a slight tart sour.
