VeganInspired by some of Northern Monk's favourite German examples of the style, this Great Northern Lager brings the soft, golden malt base of a classic Helles coupled with a bright floral, lemon balm hop character and lingering bitterness from the use of US Loral hops. Loral delivers the delicate and herbal flavours we expect from a lager but with an extra twist of citrus and pine to deliver just that little extra punch as you’d expect from Northern Monk.

I didn't receive this beer but as it was a lager I wouldn't have scored it any higher than a 3
Northern Monk are always good. This one, although not one of their best, was pleasantly surprising despite the bland packaging
Very fizzy when opened but nothing stood out from this lager
I don’t usually like lager but this is excellent
