Lemke Berlin
Budike Weisse Berliner Weisse
Lemke Berlin's traditional Berliner Weisse. Mixed fermentation with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. The Weisse seems like a mysterious sparkling wine in the glass, fine bubbles pearl up. It smells of French cider and freshly squeezed apple juice, the initial taste is reminiscent of grated apples.
Tasting notes
Ingredients: water, malted barley, yeast, hops. For allergens see ingredients in bold.

About the brewery

The brewery Lemke is one of the oldest craft beer breweries in the Berlin area. Since 1999, brewer and founder Oli Lemke has brewed different beer styles according to the German purity law. Malts, hops, yeast and water - paired with experience, passion and curiosity: this is how Lemke’s beer is made right in the heart of Berlin, from classics to sour beer and barrel-aged editions.

Somewhat feisty beer, but after losing 50% to the carpet when it exploded on opening, what was loved was delightful.
