Nocturnum Strong Dark Beer

Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end there’s a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.
Tasting notes
Ingredients: water, malted barley, yeast, hops. For allergens see ingredients in bold.

About the brewery

Brought to you by brewery Huyghe, Delirium Tremens has become a global cult classic for good reason. Known for its opaque bottle, pink elephant, and stratospheric flavour with an ABV to match, it might actually be Delirium’s backstory that catapulted the brand into the beer hall of fame. So beloved is this brand that you’ll find Delirium bars everywhere from Tokyo to Peru, but nowhere is the brand better experienced than the brewery in its hometown of Melle, Belgium.

Deceptively strong 8.5% ALC dark coloured beer brewed in Melle near Ghent, Belgium by Brouwerij Huyghe under the Delirium brand. Well balanced taste with overtones of dried fruit & citrus peel combined with a caramel & roasted malts to create a deceptively sweet and slightly sour smooth strong dark beer.
Full of flavour but delirium always delivers.
Delicious, delirium an all time favourite, dark Belgian beer at it's best!
Strong, dark and full of flavour. Exactly what I would expect from a great Belgian beer. Quite possibly the best beer I've ever had from Beer52.
A time forgeting classic. Nice surprise to see it here, and it is the strongest I've had from Beer52, more like this. It has to be sipped slowly or else I'm going to miss the extreme flavour, and feel sickly. So slow and quality all the way.
