Dark, warm, rich and moreish yet surprisingly elegant given its depth of dark brooding fruit. Poised and well structured with balancing acidity and dark chocolate sour cherry truffle flavours. Pair with portobello mushroom with butter and garlic, slow-braised beef or hard cheeses such as age cheddar or gouda.

About the winery
The company was founded by Avelino Vegas in Santiuste de San Juan Bautista, province of Segovia. He started producing wines with grapes from vineyards in the area, especially Verdejo. The creation of the Rueda Appellation in 1982 was the final push for the recognition of the quality white wines of the firm.Today the winery is ran by the founder's sons: JR, Avelino Vegas company's president; by Fernando Vegas, General Manager and Maribel Vegas, Director of Administration. Ana Gomez, wife of Fernando, leads the Marketing and Communication Department.
