This Premium Saperavi from Kakheti is an opulent expression of Georgia's revered red variety, demonstrating both the strength of its terroir and the meticulous craftsmanship behind its production. This wine, with its deep hue, reveals a nose that is intriguingly complex. Notes of cherry truffles and black plum combine with subtle hints of oak, which add a sophisticated layer without overpowering the primary fruit aromas. The wine’s inviting bouquet is further enriched by faint whispers of black pepper and dark chocolate. A bold, full-bodied masterpiece. It unfolds with concentrated black fruit flavours, complemented by a touch of bitter chocolate and a refreshing sour cherry finish. The texture is both robust and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a pronounced acidity that provides structure and balance. The oak influence is subtle yet noticeable, enhancing the wine’s complexity without overshadowing its fruit-forward character.

Absolutely loving the Saperavi grape. My favourite wine of all Wine 52 was a North Macedonian Saperavi and this was another excellent wine
