The 2022 blend from Beira showcases the unique terroir of this eastern Portuguese region, where the rugged landscape and continental climate have imparted distinct characteristics to the wine. On the nose, it reveals an enticing bouquet of ripe black fruit, underpinned by earthy tones that hint at the mineral-rich soils of the Beira hills. On the palate, the wine is dry and medium-bodied, with a substantial tannic structure that is firm yet ripe, reflecting the influence of the high-altitude vineyards. The blend offers a harmonious balance of ripe red and black fruits, coupled with refreshing acidity that enhances its freshness and drinkability. The influence of the terroir is evident in the wine's vibrancy and its ability to maintain acidity despite the ripeness of the fruit.

A solid wine, palatable, smooth, well balanced tannins and fruit.
Very Slight nose.. had to really try hard to pick up any notes.. tannins hit you first .. got the fruit but no t much depth .. pleasant enough .. maybe needed to breath longer. Dry tannins over minerals.
Red and black fruits on nose and palate. Substantial tannin structure, but pleasant rather than super dry. Went extremely well with beef curry.
It was amazing, went down a treat. nice balance of fruits and easy to sip
