About the brewery

Mikkeller was created as a hobby project in Mikkel Borg Bjergso’s Kitchen in Copenhagen in 2003. The ambition was (and still is) to make the world’s best beer. The brewery enjoyed a breakthrough in 2006 when Ratebeer.com declared Beer Geek Breakfast the best stout in the world. The demand from the US that followed, forced Mikkel to leave the kitchen and find new brewing facilities. With no funding to build his own brewery, he had to find alternative methods. Mikkeller started contract brewing, and has been enjoying the global reach that the practice facilitates ever since. Today, Mikkeller can be found in fridges across major cities all over the world.

Gold in colour with a wheat/hop aroma and a fresh lemon, pineapple and grass flavour leading to a citrus finish making you want more. Gorgeous!!!
Was one of my first boxes and have always looked for their beers since.
Not a huge Wit fan, but this surprised me
This was a highly complex, high-strength Wit, and most enjoyable
