Summer Bangers

Brewed exclusively for Beer52, PlanetSide Extra Pale Ale is a crisp, hop-driven beer. Pilsner malt, wheat and oats provide a light base, which has been liberally hopped with Mosaic, Citra and Chinook to give an aroma and flavour bursting of citrus and peach.

Usually associated with the rail that runs overhead this is one to celebrate Partizan’s links to the nearby underground Jubilee line and Bermondsey station. Brewed with Idaho 7, Citra Cryo and our very favourite French strain of yeast. This New England saison is hazy, esters and hop forward.

Balance is the key here, a harmony between deep toffee and bready malt and resinous, sticky pine hop notes. Accents of fresh ground pepper, orange zest and sweet orchard fruits rise from the mix before a crescendo of pithy grapefruit on the finish.

A moreish, Bavarian-style wheat beer characterised by its soft texture, pillowy white head, and hazy straw colour. Expect fruity banana, bubblegum, and spicy clove aromas from the yeast esters with lemony, herbal notes from the German noble hop Mittlefruh.

Our take on one of Mexico’s finest exports, the classic lager and lime. We’ve taken the base of our own house lager, brought flaked maize to the party for an extra crisp, clean finish and hopped with NZ variety Motueka which bursts with lime zing. A little twist of lime zest certainly helped finish things off.

We’ve had a lot of with this beer, recreating that Northern classic, the Bakewell Tart. Cherry brings a radiant red hue to the beer and sweet juicy flavour, almond brings the cakey depth and of course it’s all topped up with delicious vanilla icing.

This is a Cold IPA, brewed with flaked maize to keep it lean, giving a refreshing drinking experience just like a pilsner, but with a punchy hop nose like an IPA conditioned with loads of Citra and Mandarina Bavaria. Fermented with the new NovaLager yeast from Lallemand, brewing innovation at its best.

The artwork for our Blackhorse Beer Mile Pale Ale was inspired by Giles Round’s tile set designed for Blackhorse Road station in 2016, with some industrial additions to suit the area. The project’s name ‘Design Work Leisure’ is a good reflection of what the area is all about. This pale ale is full of citrus peel and tropical fruit notes underpinned by an earthy herbal aroma.
