North Macedonian Reds

Made from 100% Vranec an indigenous Balkan variety famous for producing inky, dark, full-bodied, powerful wines. This bottle is no exception, packed with intense ripe cassis fruit, toasted coffee and liquorice - and all the power and concentration one would expect. These notes follow through onto the palate with savoury characters, spicy rich, smoky fruit flavours and firm tannins - but overall elegance. Decant 30min before drinking.

Spicy, dark Syrah from the warm climate of North Macedonia, packed with vibrant ripe raspberry fruit and dark chocolate notes. Ripe and supple on the palate with good intensity of black fruit, plentiful but soft tannins and a lovely juicy, fresh finish. Drink with grilled lamb, pasta with a tomato-based sauce, chorizo and butterbean stew, spicy sausages and mash.

Big, bold, and juicy, there is an abundance of blackberry and cassis fruit with hints of dark chocolate and mint. Fresh and fruit driven on the pallet, with juicy red fruit upfront leading to drying tannins with a long and flavoursome, fresh finish. Decant 30 min before drinking and pair with steak tartare, seared tuna, roast Mediterranean veg and some crunchy, matured hard cheese.
