What's included

A symbiosis between Georgian charm and the inexhaustible energy of the Moldovan terroir. A bright, vivid nose with summer fruit, prunes and crushed raspberries. There is a rich attack of fresh, red fruit on the palate which is at once vibrant and dark. Unusual and different but unquestionably delicious. A great partner to rich and savoury red meat dishes based on lamb and beef, or a gutsy bean casserole. Decant 30 minutes before drinking.

Made from the native Fetească Neagră, the country’s flagship red grape, this wine is deeply complex with a savoury, smoky character backed by the distinctive blackberry flavours. Faintly reminiscent of northern Italy with its bright acidity and grippy tannins, it`s beautifully made but with a feral streak that holds the interest from the first sip to the last. Black cherry and ripe plum flavours are complemented by warm spice and chocolate notes from the barrel ageing.
