Georgian Reds

This beautifully coloured Saparavi was made from grapes harvested from several different vineyards in the renowned Kakheti region. The wine is bright and juicy with fresh crunchy dark berry flavours and perfectly balanced acidity. Tannic but balanced and well-made. Decant 40 minutes prior serving and pair with spicy sausage stew, a juicy burger or barbecued meats.

A delicious and matured Saperavi from the Melaani region in Georgia. After several years in the bottle, this wine developed a beautiful and complex range of flavours and aromatics. Stewed raspberry, prunes, cherry truffles and chocolate - a lot going here! The long cellaring is also evident on the palate. The wine is soft and mellow with plenty of matured tannins and dried fruit flavours. A perfect pairing for rich casseroles, slow-cooked lamb dishes and aged cheeses.

Juicy, fresh, easy drinking and full of flavour. An aromatic wine, strawberry jam with ripe blackcurrants and menthol - seriously moreish. The palate is a bit of a surprise. The grapes were late harvested and as a result, the wine has a lovely initial sweetness balanced by the typical Saperavi high tannins and acidity. Really interesting and fun! Decant 40 minutes before drinking, serve lightly chilled with duck, game or strong cheeses - Stilton, Roquefort and Gorgonzola.
