Hoppy IPAs

Inspired by the team's love for classic West-Coast American pales ales - think Sierra Nevada, Oskar Blues and Stone - they wrote a love letter to those halcyon days where a balance of malt and bitterness, and drinkability, was desired and tasted damn good. Sunnybank is also the name of the textile mill complex its brewpub is housed in.

The nose is met with an array of passion fruit, over-ripe mango and tropical fruits. The juiciness continues in the mouth with the hops to the fore, a balancing light caramel from the malt keeping the hops in check. As the fruits fade in a distortion the bitterness sings of pineapple and grapefruit.

BBD: 19/03/2022 A light and refreshing IPA brewed with extra pale malt, naked oats and dextrin malt in the mash to create a pale straw coloured beer with a soft mouthfeel. Dry hopped exclusively with Sabro for fruity flavours and a hint of coconut on the nose.

Four big-hitting hops come together to create a sessionable, hop-forward pale ale with the intensity of a new world IPA, Amarillo, Chinook and Simcoe from the USA work in harmony with New Zealand's Nelson Sauvin to produce a punchbowl aroma of lemon, tangerine and gooseberry, followed by a balanced grapefruit bitterness.
