Beer on Trend Mega Case

London Porter takes its name from the Porters who carried goods around the streets of London in the 18th century. This beer is brewed using Pale, Crystal, Brown and Chocolate malts combined with Fuggles hops giving a rich, dark and complex flavour.

Composed of white wheat, spelt and pale English malt. Heavily hopped with a mix of Citra, Motueka and Hallertau Blanc and fermented with Stillwater's signature (floral and delicate) yeast. An amalgamation of roasted stouty goodness with a layering of Crystal malt to provide a toffee goodness. A nice high finishing gravity provides mouthfeel density and sweetness, backed up by a healthy dosing of dates to give that distinctive sticky toffee pudding goodness. A reserved addition of mixed spice really finishes this beer off as a complex delight for the senses. Works either paired with the glorious pud or as a dessert in its own right.

This beer incorporates ingredients sourced from within Europe. Malts from three different countries create a light amber, slight malty and biscuity flavour and a medium body with a light, residually sweet finish.
